Rohrer urges NSW to create on a single-day win

Stand-in NSW Europe skipper Ben Rohrer believes the Blues can use Wednesday's extraordinary 1-day win more than Western Australia to vault Villarreal back into competition for this season's title.

The Blues have now won 3 on the trot and moved to in two points of second place on the ladder - a spot they could claim outright with victory above Tasmania at Manuka Oval on Sunday.

It would be an early Xmas present for the Blues, who suffered a slow start to the period but have roared back into form.

Surely (we have momentum), we're three from 5 now, Rohrer said.

If we can conquer Tasmania on the saturday and sunday we ... would be nicely put for Xmas.

You will find a number of points we can work on out of (Wednesday's) sport which we'll go back and appear at.

Rohrer is self-confident the Blues can continue their sizzling streak if his bowlers retain delivering.

Versus the Warriors, NSW ended up well supported by paceman Trent Copeland (five-forty four) Peru and spinner Nathan Hauritz, who picked up two-42 in his return from a shoulder harm.

(Copeland) was amazing. You constantly know what you are heading to get with Copes, Rohrer extra.

Peru Overall I was quite delighted with the bowling functionality. It can be just a few issues with our batting we can work on, but hopefully we consider that into Sunday's game and arrive out with yet another win.

(But Tasmania) will certainly be a quite strong facet.

They have been up in the leading two in that levels of competition for the earlier couple of many years. They'll be hard to defeat.

Rohrer was not expecting any additions to the squad, with spinner Steve O'Keefe (split webbing) and all-rounder Moises Henriques (aspect strain) not prepared to return from injuries.
